Fernando de Medicis
Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer
Cloud cost optimization · Infrastructure automation
Senior platform and DevOps engineer with 13+ years in cloud infrastructure, automation and reliability. I build platforms from the ground up and rescue ones that others got wrong — creating the automation and self-service tooling that lets engineering teams ship without friction.
What I do
- Rescue & rebuild inherited platforms
- Cut cloud costs by design (~90% on a rebuilt platform)
- Self-service delivery that removes ops as a bottleneck
- Modern automation — IaC, CI/CD, and AI/agentic tooling
Freelance — open to platform & DevOps work.
